  1. I am looking for a program that will completely wipe data and info from my External USB Hard Drive. I tried to use Darik's Boot and Nuke, but they said that it does not work for externals/USB. Is there a program that will function like Darik's Boot and Nuke so I can wipe all data beyond the point of recovery?

    Thanks for your help

Any disk wiping software that does work with USB? :)

If you have a unixoid OS then the disk wiping functionality is built in in the form of the dd command. So you could use any CD Linux like INSERT or Knoppix. They come with specialised disk wiping utilities too I think.

In Windows, any disk wiping program should work with external drives too.

I think Data Security Wizard is a good choice. It has a function can help you securely wipe any file, folder, partition and hard disk without any chances for its recovery.
