USB key partition deleted, DATA retrieval needed

  1. Hi all !

I was installing WinXP and forgot USB 512MB key in USB20 port. And when choosing partitions I mistakenly choosed D to delete this USB key one. When I realized that I quickly turned off computer and pull of the key.

Now I would like to know what should I do to get the data back, if there is such possibility. I don't know exactly what FileSystem is on USB20 keys in WinXP and if Master File Table was deleted, but I can get THE SAME 512MB Kingston drive and take the same scenario as to compare data on the disk.

I would be thankful for any software which can solve it, I know diskprobe but it is very low system software to play with ....

    THANK YOU for any response.

USB pen drives are typically Fat32. you could try some of the freeware partition recovery software available.
