USB protection recommendation

hey guys!

i just want to ask if there are some good free Usb protection antivirus that u can recommend? recently my PC was attacked by several viruese and malwares and i believe i got it with my USB drive...the most annoying is RECYCLER.exe and some autorun.inf files which makes my LOCAL C inaccessible..

If you have a/v software on the PC it's plugged in to, you shouldn't really require it.

Use the same protection you normally use... just find ways to access the media to run it.

I wish I could recommend Avast, but it's for a "U3" stick and it's only good for 60 days.

USB devices can infect when mounted just like the old floppy disks.
If you disable autorun, then that is not possible and you can scan the media
with your A/V product before you run anything
