I have Ubuntu installed on our media machine but I want to revert back to Windows XP. Anyway I have always had a problem with installing stuff on this machine because it only has USB slots and no PS/2 slots for my mouse and keyboard.

So my question is that how on earth am I going to get around this because I can't press enter at the right time to initiate the XP CD and can't install it.

Any ideas?

Martin

Most BIOS's have an allow the use of a USB keyboard, XP will I think load drivers during setup allowing you to use it to setup XP at the GUI section.

You need to access the BIOS to set it up,

You cant access the BIOS as there is no PS2 port

Catch 22

Im out of ideas

So how was it loaded to start with
Regards

Well, it was Windows but we switched to Ubuntu which has a Live CD so automatically loaded. Its a stupid design flaw which I cant seem to get past.

I am already using one but its wireless so I might try a wired one and see if there is any difference.
