    Hi,

My first post on here so if anything is wrong I appologise.

first of all my computer specs are:

    Intel C2D E6750
    2GB RAM
    8500GT graphics card
    450W PSU
    ASROCK 1333-D667 mobo

It has 6 USB ports and i use

    1.Netgear USB Wireless
    2.Mouse
    3.Saitek Rudder Pedals
    4.USB Headset/Mic

I have also got the Saitek Yoke and Throttles.

Whenever i go to plug in the yoke my computer will automatically restart with no warning or nothing and will not reboot fully unless i remove the USB,

I dont think the item is faulty or anyhting as ive tried it in another computer. But what i have noticed is that when I only plug that in and say my mouse and headset it will work fine. but when i add another USB it will restart again. I dont know a lot about computers but is it something to do with the Power supply?? Maybe its not enough power to power it all???

    Thanks guys

First thing to check, go to control panel, administrative tools, Event viewer

Look for Errors, if there get there ID and Source

secondly, you can clip the paperclip icon above your reply here, and navigate to C:\windows\Minidump\minidump.dmp files and attach the last few if there

This may be due to low USB current as you suggest. Go to www.majorgeeks.com and download everest - run this and it will show you the output of your PSU.
Another solution might be a mains powered USB hub.
