    Hi all

    Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get a good cheap laptop for about £300-350? Just basic office use (word, excel) and some browsing.

    Saw a website, laptopshop.co.uk anyone know if this is any good?

    Any help much appreciated!

    Ebay is always good for cheap laptops, I bought a PII 128mb RAM for 300bucks. you might be lucky to pickup something similar for less...

    Look on Ebay for used IBM Thinkpad T23 with 1.13GHz processor. Normally they come with 30GB HD, DVD-ROM and 256MB memory (can take 2 x 512MB = 1GB).
    Very sturdy workhorse with great 14.1" screen. About US$300.-
