The first $450 system sounds the more attractive from its description. Find out monitor-size, and if you get proper ownership transfer for both XP and Office (incl. the original CDs). Doesn't say what mobo it has. Only 1.8Ghz CPU, but if you are not a hardcore gamer, it should be fine for everyday things. The second system has a lousy ECS motherboard, and it has no mention of installed OS or other software. Sounds like a slap-happy jumble of parts. Stay away.
