user32.dll and shell32.dll files

Discussion in 'Storage and Networking' started by JoeM076, Dec 26, 2006.

  1. I just got a new computer and after trying to find pictures in Microsoft Office Picture Manager, I notice my computer began to perform slower. So I ran my AVG virus scan, and its said that the user32.dll and the shell32.dll files have been changed. And now I notice a significant change in my computer's performance. From the Internet to opening-up folders, my computer is slower. So if anyone knows how and why this happend, and has a solution for my problem, I would be more then happy to read your post:)

Try a system restore to before your problems occurred and see if that helps.

If not, post a HJT log as per the instructions HERE.
