I was wondering if it was possible to use 2 PCI Video cards for duel monitors?
I already have NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX 4000 PCI with one VGA output and have a Radeon X1300 256 MB PCI on the way that has a VGA and DVI output. Would it be better to use just the Radeon for Dual monitors or both? I want to use one for gaming and the other for working at the same time. I didnt know since it would share resources on the one card it would slow down my computer? Thank You.

Yes, you can use two PCI cards for two monitors. You can even use your two PCI cards for three monitors. You could even order two more PCI cards and have seven monitors!

As for gaming.. What games do you intend to play and how would you switch between the game and the work desktop? Usually you just move the mouse over to the other screen, but that would become very annoying in some games..
