UT2004 and Tribes Vengeance Problems

    I have a 6600 gt and when i am playing UT2k4 or tribes vengeance it will run great but when i either minimize it or exit out of it my computer will just instantly restart...I tried turning down advanced graphics options such as shadows and such...but it's very annoying...any suggestions...and I also have all the new patches and drivers and directx...
