Vertical line on pc monitor

ive had this vertical line on my monitor for a few days now and cant seem to get rid of it (philips 150c4) have rolled back drivers upadted drivers just cant get rid of it.can anyone help please its rather annoying.thanks

Video cards can do that when they go bad.

Remove the battery & work on your system (if it's a Laptop) direct on power for 15 to 20 mins & connect the battery in it.
See what is happened ? If it is there then it's a BIG harware problem.

Check all wallpapers on background & also screen saver.

A problem with the wiring that controls the screen.LCDs are easily damaged.
