Very urgent question (Internet is gone for me: need ask NOW)

Ok this is very important, I bought a Laptop DVD Burner on ebay. It is the exact model to my laptop's.

Anyways the one I have is broken, but if I use the one I bought, how do I install it in my computer?

Do I just stick it in? No need for Drivers or Program files right?

Edit - The reason this is urgent is that I have to go back home where I am restricted from internet. Thankyou

If its the same model,. then Yes just stick it in. Make sure the Lappy is powered off, as some dont support hot swapping (changing modules whilst the unit is on)
