VGA 8x performance on AGP 4x

  1. Can you please tell me what is the difference in performance whyle using a 128Mb VGA 8x on a AGP slot 4x in compare with a 128Mb VGA 8x on a AGP slot 8x? I mean, does in wirth the trouble or a it's best to get a new Mother Board?

    The difference will be negligible, so no need to worry.

    As you can see there isn`t that much difference.


    Test #1= 8X AGP
    3D Mark 2000= 20,744
    3D Mark 2001= 23,817
    3D Mark 2003= 12,254

    Test #2= 4X AGP
    3D Mark 2000= 20,143
    3D Mark 2001= 23,711
    3D mark 2003= 12,211
