VIA USB PCI card x digital camera

    Hi all.
    I just installed a PCI card with 3 USB plugs. Windows 2000 sp3 detected this pci card and installed some USB devices at device manager. But it don't recognize my digital camera when I plug it.
    In other mobos it recognize the camera instantly but not in this pci card. What should I do? Thanks in advance for any help.

    Dont rely on the windows drivers, download new ones from the manufacture

    Hiya i also bout a pci via chipset based usb card and i could not get my selfbuilt usb2 hdd to function with it either in 2k or even in xp home or pro

    Currently the chipset does not support high speed asyncronus transfer . I dont know if this is related but i would think so.

    I gave up with it gave it to my mate and bought an adaptec usb card wi nec chipset works perfectly.
