  1. my computer freezes and restarts itself almost every time i turn it on within about 5 minutes of startup and says there is an error with the video card on the error report and the error report has no solution, this only happens on windows xp, it runs fine on windows 2000. i have a pentium 4 2.53 gig cpu and a shuttle av49pn motherboard with 512 ddr ram installed. i recently switched to the mobo and cpu i used to have a socket a chaintech mobo and amd 2000+ cpu which ran fine with the graphics card. the card is geforce fx 5200 256 ddr ram with tv out.

Did you do a format and clean install of the operating system? If not older drivers are causing the problem. If you did uninstall the video drivers and then reinstall them. If that doesnt work try an older version of the driver.
