video card compatability question.

Hi,
had a quick question regarding compatability. If I get a video card that has DDR2 memory and put it in a motherboard that uses DDR memory will this be incompatable and not work?

No problem. One has nothing to do with the other. All else being compatible, it will work.

To put it simply: The only factor of compatibility when it comes to video cards, is the interface type of the card/motherboard (PCI, AGP, PCI-E).

DDR and GDDR are completely different.
