Video Card for Dell 2300 deminision

  1. Hi folks my wife has a dell deminison 2300 and the wpt 2007 poker says she need a bigger video card,mim 64 mb i went out and pucahsed a e g force fx 5500 128 mb but the card itself is too long to fit in her dell , is there another card that i could purchase at least 64 mb, ? Thanks herb f1

    I recommend what I have, ATI Radeon 9250 128MB video card, I got mine for about $50. Make sure when you are buying one you get an AGP video card, not PCI.

    Umm, make sure you get pci, NOT AGP! The 2300 has no agp. I have a pci 6200 in my 2300.

    Just open up your desktop and look at the slots

    PCI looks like this:

    After finding that out and telling us what slot it is I can link a really good videocard in your price range ;)

    Since I hear it's PCI get a nVidia 6200 from Newegg.com, It's probably one of the best PCI cards

    It has Shader 3.0 so it can play most games ( except games like Oblivion ;) )
    and you wont have to upgrade! Also the ATI 9200 series sucks :haha:
