Video card problem?

I just reinstalled Windows XP Pro because I kept getting the bsod whenever I did anything memory intensive. I updated my video drivers to the latest (Nvidia GeForce 440). Now whenever I play a video game (these games are a couple years old), the game plays for about 2-3 minutes then either the game quits and returns me to the main windows screen or windows restarts itself. Do you think it is a bad video card?

BSODs usually mean faulty hardware i.e. Ram, harddrive, psu etc...

Reloading windows doesn't mean it will get rid of your issue when its a hardware problem

Hello and Welcome to Techspot! :)

Download Memtest86 and let it run for at least 8 passes (takes some time). If you don't know how to use Memtest, check out this thread HERE.
