    Ok,

I wanted to play Battlefield 2142 so I bought the Geforce AGP 7600 GS and a Sony 16x DVD+R Drive. I installed both to my computer and the game worked great.

However, when I try to play a DVD, my computer goes super slow. I did the task manager thing and noticed that my CPU was running at 100%. I don't know why its not working and it's driving me crazy.

Here are a few of my specs:

    Windows XP
    P4 2.00 GHz
    512 RAM
    CD Rom Drive - Master
    DVD Drive - Slave

    Please help.

Which processes were using up the CPU time?

I checked and when I opened up task manager explorer.exe (90) and mplayer (10) were the only things taking up room. But soon it changed to taskmgr.exe being (64).
