I´ve got Radeon 9000 Pro, with Windows XP it´s no possible to run Diablo 2 but no problems with any other games.

When game starts to load, screen turns black and fails.
What can i do? Shall i uninstall Xp and install any other?
    It´s maybe a drivers problem?

    Thanks :(

more than likely your problem is a ati driver issue with that particular game. you might try making sure that you have the latest ati drivers for the card since they usually include "fixes" for games that there are known issues with.

you might also check windows update they just released a new hotfix seems that under XP some games will cause the video to fail.

Rather than using Direct 3D, you can try DirectDraw.. You'll lose Diablo's "psuedo 3D" view, but you can play 2D fine.. (or should be able to at least.)

    Start/All Programs/Diablo II/video test

Run that and it will test your video in Diablo II. It should give you the options of Direct 3D and DirectDraw when it is done.. Choose DirectDraw. If you are using DirectDraw, then try Direct3D. One of them might work.
