Have you updated graphics card and mobo drivers??

Also, have a look at dxdiag by clicking start, run then typing dxdiag and have a look at the display section for any problems!!!!

i have the latest MoBo Drivers, current forceware(93.71), windows is uptodate on all patches and i have the most recent directx(9.0c SDK) version. ive run both directdraw and direct3d tests that are in the dxdiag program and both passed. perhaps i should explain the graphics problem a little better. i can still play the games its just that some parts of the characters(pc and npc) or scenery flickers even on lowest detail settings
