Video stitching software?

Hi, I'm looking for a program that can stitch together a bunch of videos - not linearly, but all into one screen, kind of like photo-stitching software does for large panoramas. I figure the high end programs like premiere can do this, but does anyone know of any smaller (or better yet - free) packages that can do this on a Windows machine?

I have software that came with My Cano so i know software is available.

Thanks, but i meant for stitching video, not images
