Video Troubles Off The Monitor....

Hi, i recently got a new computer, that has 3 GB memory, 400 HD, n AMD 64x2.

i like to play games and watch a lot of movies on my computer, so i had to get a new video card, i got the ATI Radeon X1650

i was told it runs great with games and movies, so i got it. It does work great on my monitor, but when i unplug my monitor, n plug it in to a TV, the video quality is all choppy.

any suggestions? I've already updated the drivers by the way. Thanks for any help.

Hi

How are you connecting it to the TV, sepcify cable and sockets.

Codecs can also be an issue have you got all the needed ones.

Have you updated Direct X to the latest version.

ive updated everything (direct x and codecs). The videocard came with HD-TV connections (an S-Video w/the green/blue/red inputs), BUT i'm using an S-Video connection with the regular yellow/white/red connections....do you think that's the problem?
