Videos won't load and slow firefox start up

  1. I've been having issues with videos not loading and firefox taking maybe 3 or 4 minutes to start up, though usually works fine once its running. I've done disk clean up, disk defragment, ran a full norton scan and ran malware bytes. I've also deleted temporary internet files and cookies. I've done everything I can think of to fix the issue but it hasn't worked, is there anything else I can try?

f you would like us to check the system for malware, please follow the steps in the Preliminary Virus and Malware Removal thread HERE.

When you have finished, leave the logs for review in your next reply .

Please do not use any other cleaning programs or scans while I'm helping you, unless I direct you to. Do not use a Registry cleaner or make any changes in the Registry.

A note: what you are describing can be due to a system problem. It does not sound like malware. But if you want to rule out the malware possibility, run the suggested steps and leave the logs for me to review. If necessary, I will refer you to the Windows OS forum for help with the system.
