    Normally to RAM X 1.5 (for you: 128 x 1.5 = 192MB)
But having so little RAM, set it to something like 350MB.
Make it a fixed size (i.e. min = max = 350MB), preferably on a different disk from your Windows-installation

so 350 min and 350 max?

yes, min and max should be the same. As RBS said, guidelines are 1.5x physical RAM, but you might5 need to play with that number. I wouldn't go above the 350mb he mentioned because large pagefiles tend to slow things down a bit because the HDD is usually the slowest component in a machine.

thanks for the reply. then what would u suggest?

I would recommend you try the 192, then try the 350. If the 350 seems a bit sluggish, back it off till you find the sweet spot. If the 350 seems to feel more responsive than the 192 than leave it at 350. Setting the PF isn't an exact science, it takes a bit of tinkering to find the sweetspot, but what RBS gave you were pretty good guidelines.
