Hello and welcome to Techspot.

I have moved your post to it`s own thread. This will save any confusion.

Your system is badly infected with some real nasties.

Go and run these three tools. Follow the instructions for each tool exactly.

Tool1. Tool2. Tool3.

Once you`ve done that, post a fresh HJT log into this thread.

Thanks for taking the time to help me out. Is this why i get these annoying Pop-Up's? They come up every 2-3 mins and it's really frustrating. Anyway, here's the new HJT logfile. Do you need me to post the 3 .txt files from TOOL1, 2, & 3? Thanks again.

Download the Pocket Killbox programme from HERE. Extract it, but don`t run it yet.

You might want to copy and paste these instructions into a notepad file. Then you can have the file open in safe mode, so you can follow the instructions easier.

Boot into safe mode, under your normal user name. See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial61.html

Turn off system restore.(XP/ME only) See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial56.html

In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial62.html

Go to add remove programmes in your control panel and uninstall anything to do with(if there).

The Weather Channel FW\Desktop Weather

Close control panel.

Open your task manager, by holding down the ctrl and alt keys and pressing the delete key.

Click on the processes tab and end process for(if there).

44f41c99.exe
DesktopWeather.exe

Close task manager.

Run HJT with no other programmes open(except notepad).Click the scan button. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [44f41c99.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\44f41c99.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [DW4] "C:\Program Files\The Weather Channel FW\Desktop Weather\DesktopWeather.exe"

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [44f41c99.exe] C:\Documents and Settings\Victor Muro\Local Settings\Application Data\44f41c99.exe

O8 - Extra context menu item: &AOL Toolbar Search - c:\program files\aol\aol toolbar 3.0\resources\en-US\local\search.html

O20 - Winlogon Notify: winjyp32 - winjyp32.dll (file missing)

Click on the fix checked button.

Close HJT.

Locate and delete the following bold files and/or directories(if there).

C:\Program Files\[bThe Weather Channel FW[/b]

Run the killbox.exe file. When it loads type the full path to the file you would like to delete in the field and check the delete file on reboot button. press the Delete File button (looks like a red circle with a white X). It will prompt you to reboot, select no until you have finished inputting the files you want to delete, only then allow it to reboot and hopefully your files will now be deleted.

These are the filepaths you need to enter into killbox.

C:\Documents and Settings\Victor Muro\Local Settings\Application Data\44f41c99.exe

C:\WINDOWS\system32\44f41c99.exe

Once you system has rebooted, turn system restore back on and post a fresh HJT log.

Let us know how your system is running.

Regards Howard :)

Your HJT log is clean.

I can`t see any firewall software on your system. If you don`t have a firewall installed, I suggest you get one ASAP.

The free Zonealarm or the free Kerio firewalls are very good. Just Google for these.

Thanks a bunch. I just downloaded Zonealarm & i will install it. Is there anything it need to know about this program? I read a review on download.com and some guy said:

"Cons: Keeps everybody out, including YOU if you're not careful.
Know your network concepts before using else you're locked out!"

Thanks again man, i really appreciate your help.

I`ve been running Zonealarm for a number of years without any problems. However, Zonealarm can cause problems on some systems. I believe the vast majority of systems are fine with Zonealarm.

If you do have any problems with the programme, you can get the free Kerio firewall from HERE.
