anti vermon help

Hi my name is Shannon. I just accidentally picked up the same thing trying to re-download my xoftspy anti-virus program after the tech guy who installed my new mother board stripped it off. How did you get the antivermon off? I have pcillin and its not getting rid of it.

Try running a program "Ad-Aware SE Personal" or AVG Anti-Virus (Free).

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above you decide you want to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.


Post fresh HJT and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.
