  1. So I was on my computer one day and decided to run malewarebytes virus scan. About 5 min in the scan stopped and my computer went to the Aptio (or Apito, cant remember) Utility screen. I turned my computer off and tried running it again and it happened again. I then tried running Norton antivirus and it was able to complete but right after it went to the BSOD (not the aptio utility screen though, don't know if that makes any difference). Now when ever Im just using my computer for anything else, everything seems fine except I think its running a bit slower. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance!

P.s. have an Asus G55vw with windows 7 home edition installed.

I have not. Ran through the whole virus stuff with another moderator on this site and he says I'm clean yet My computer still crashes during virus scans and more recently crashed during an iTunes update.

Can you do a fresh Windows install?

Would that involve installing everything to my D drive? You think that could help?
