Vista help with hp laptop

    Hi didn't really know what to title this. But here what I need help with. I am buying a new hp laptop and unlike dell they make you make your own backup dvd. but its not a clean install ya know, it puts all the other software and junk on too. What I want to do is take the backup partition on the laptop and make a clean install vista dvd from it. Anyone know how and willing to help?

    So you haven't purchased it yet? I think you should try asking after you've purchased it. My sister just bought an Acer Notebook with Vista recently and I saw her using options that allowed her to create a Vista DVD disc. Whether it was backup / install - I'm not sure.

    But wait until you get it and see what options they give you first.
