Vista lags on startup for about 10 - 15 minutes for no apparent reason

  1. I Have a windows vista machine that when I start it up, it is unusable for about 10 - 15 or sometimes even 20 minutes.
The HDD access LED blinks like crazy during the whole time.

I checked Task Manager and i found nothing, just that the kernel was taking up like 50% and what not... but the thing is... it lags so much that you can't type very well even cause it take 10 sec for the letter to appear on the screen.

I don't get it... it's done this since it was new...
    Any ideas?
It has Windows Vista Ultimate factory installed from Sony... I removed a lot of the random bloatware but it didn't make any difference...

I downloaded HijackThis and did a scan and saved the log file...
    Here it is...
I don't know if it's any help... I'm looking at it and don't see anything.
