Vista Material?

hey everybody-

I was just wondering if this system would run Vista basic version when it come out. I just use this computer primarily for homework and internet browsing.

Specs:

eMachines T3882

2.8GHz Celeron D 335
512MB DDR SDRAM PC3200
80GB 7200RPM HDD
Intel extreme graphics2 w/ up to 96MB RAM
6 USB 2.0
DVD/CD-RW

plus I was wondering if the Home Premium version has support for Dual Core CPUs. since i think it will run on this system?

Home Premium PC specs:

Gateway FX510X
3.0GHz Pentium D 930
2GB DDR2 SDRAM
250GB 7200RPM HDD
nVidia GeForce 6600 up to 256MB (128MB dedicated, 128MB allocated)
7USB 2.0 3IEEE1394
DVD+-R/RW DL

will the FX510X handle the aero effects?

For your emachines or any other PC you already have, go to ATI's website here and run the program to see if it is Vista ready.
