I am running Vista Home Premium on a Gateway notebook.
The built in wireless card is a Realtek RTL8187 Wireless 802.11g 54Mbps USB 2.0 Network Adapter #2.

One user can see the wireless network fine (it is unsecured). The other user cannot see any wireless networks at all.

Is there some setting here that I'm missing? Both users are administrators.

On the vista computer Go to start -> all programs -> accessories -> command prompt

at the command prompt -> type ipconfig /all

click the command icon at the top left of the box, mouse over edit and click select all. click the icon again, mouse over edit and select copy then come here and reply then hit paste in the reply box

I'm back and connected to my home wireless network, but I still can't see any networks if I search for them.

I am not sure why that is that you could see yours but nobody elses, but at least you are seeing your network and connected.
