VPN tunnel for live connection to remote server?

  1. I'm looking to set up a connection between a network in one physical location to a server in another physical location using our existing cable connection.
I will have a router and switch at both locations.
The cable provider is comcast and only offers dynamic IP addressing.
If anyone could offer some general directions or suggestions on how to implement that I would be great.

Just set up VPN.. There are dozens of products and guides available.

Depending on what exactly you want to achieve, you could even get away with no VPN at all.

Use a service like DynDNS to get around the dynamic IP problem.

OpenVPN works very well for me.
