This is my first venture into a forum so please be understanding!! I don't know the protocols involved.
Recently my Yahoo Home page has been hi-jacked by the above which seems to warn of all sorts of horrors. On cancelling the MYZOR warning
res://ieframe.dll/navcancl.htm then takes over as the home page re Internet Security. Also PetTrap seems to be in the system somewhere and cannot be deleted. I don't know where the MYZOR came from and I nearly downloaded the PestTrap fully to remove MYZOR etc but stopped in time. I understand that Pestrap is really a con!
Can anyone help me, please?

Hi alan_duncanson and welcome to TechSpot!

You need to have a read of this - If your system is infected. Read this before deciding whether to CLEAN or REFORMAT.

Then if you should wish to proceed with cleaning your system you need to go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT and AVG Antispyware logs as ATTACHMENTS into this thread, only after doing the above.
