  2. In Bumfug, Arizona yesterday a dog urinated on a fire hydrant and was immediately arrested for littering, according to a front page story in the Bumfug Bulletin. That is what in the journalism business is called a big news story.

  3. You failed to mention that you can't get the discount unless you have the special Walpple coupon.

Unless this is done with apples blessing, apple will be taking away certain perks (if I remember correctly). They don't like it when these things aren't prices like they want it to be...

It is because it's never happened before. The real news is 'how' Walmart is able to do it. The answer to that isn't known, but as this story points out, Walmart is either giving Apple the finger, or has their blessing to do it because Apple is trying to appeal to the 'budget shopper' and if there's one thing Walmart has a lot of it's 'budget shoppers'.

Either way, this should guarantee that plenty of Walmart customers get their Apple 5C phones at 20% off, and I'm sure there's nothing that would make Steve Jobs roll over faster in his grave than the thought of his beautiful exclusive brand being represented by your average Walmart customer.

I don't think it makes a difference who buys where. Even some rich folk shop at Walmart. There's nothing like saving a buck. Why pay more than you have to.
