What kind of video card should i get? I wanted to upgrade from NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX/MXX 400 to a 128 MB Video Card.

I love playing Half-Life, counter-strike, or anything like that. I dont care about the screen res. oh it has be enither a PCI Card or a AGP 4x card. by the way, will the AGP 8X card work on the AGP 4X card? I'll pay no more than $200 for the card.

For about $200 the nvidia 6600gt(the agp version) is good. Maybe something like this.

can u sure that video card will work on the AGP 4X? Is there any regular PCI style kind?

If you have agp 4x with 1.5v signaling voltage, it should be compatible with 8x cards that support agp 4x/8x. Pci cards are not nearly as fast as agp. One of the better pci cards is the 5700le, about $90.

Depends on the games u play

It depends on the game u play, a good card to start will be the Geforce Fx 5700 128 mb if u play old games and dont mind the resolution but for newer games u must look for the anything like the Geforce 6600 GT.

Personaly i think a geforce 5700 or ati 9600 will do.
