    I have managed to got hold of a free HP DLT 80gig tape drive...
    But didn't get a chance to backup my 120gig sata HD, then guess what? I rebooted the pc, the next mins Windows reported corrupted MBR :mad:

    How unlucky I am. Just posted in the forum for help getting my corrupted partition back up...

    Worst come if I can't get it back online, will need to try other means :(

    You can try fdisk /MBR if you run Win9X or in 2k/XP boot from the CD to repair option and from the Recovery Console run FIXMBR and there are also 3rd party MBR repair tools (Repair Mbr Software (Soft411.com)).
