Unboxing videos are typically uneventful and repetitive but that certainly can’t be said of Carphone Warehouse’s recent unboxing of the Sony Xperia Z3 smartphone. That’s because the mobile phone retailer elected to unbox the handset in its natural habitat – underwater.

The host of the world’s first underwater unboxing does a good job of showing everything that’s included, from the soggy cardboard to the included headphones (apparently good for listening to the sounds of whales and dolphins). And what underwater unboxing would be complete without a diver selfie?

I didn't hear anything about a "Float" device to return it to the surface. In case it gets x meters/feet away from your Sony Smart Watch ( clearly also waterproof ).

If you drop this phone in a body of water too deep for manual, unassisted retrieval, it's probably safe to assume the pressure will have exceeded the device's rating. Nobody needs a float for a brick.
