Webcam - Audio

My sister and I recently got webcams and can't seem to get the audio to work - video works fine. Hers is a Logitech and mine is Creative. We have checked the obvious things, I think - mic volume, mute, etc. We are both are using Windows XP platform and we both have internet access thru cable (broadband) and have wireless routers.

Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.

What program are you using? Perhaps a different webcam program will fix your problems.

Are you sure your recording source is set to the microphone? Can you record audio with the mic? If no then your problem is in the sound system. If yes then your problem is in the networking.
