Please I need help with my computer Webcam.. It's not working when I tried to make video call with my woman.. Right now she's so upset and I'm looking her trust.. Please help me solve this problem

On my machine, recent Windows upgrade zapped my webcam installation.. solved by restart and having other party call me. I think 'answering' gets machine to 'look'.
