    Hi,
I deal with a lot of clients via FTP and have always used Webdrive to access all the sites. I upgraded my machine to XP and now notice almost everytime I view files on a remote server it causes my machine to crash. If I leave the connection on running in the background it seems fine, but something is causing the system to just shutdown when I view or open a remote file. I have my Workstation service disabled I just noticed, think that's all it is?
    I hope so

any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Mary Lou

Have you tried installing the software again?

If you recently upgraded to XP, it is possible that certain settings or files that Webdrive depends upon have been altered.

Reinstalling the application may fix your problem... Or even upgrading it (perhaps you have an older version that is not compatible wth XP).

And if you are accessing files via FTP, there are plenty of other good FTP clients around, like the freeware smartftp... www.smartftp.com
