How fast is your home internet connection?

all from the Philippines who use a regular 1 mbps will droll in that speed. same as goes to me. but I only use my phones Internet(globe postpaid) which doesn't seem to be affected by the FUP. since the it almost 26GB data used in just 4 days. the day I updated my phone to wp8.1. 13mbps Max speed for me is ok :) ,
yup, that's about the same speed for those LTE-capable phones from both Smart and Globe telecoms.
(although LTE is not yet in service for us in the far-flung provinces)

Paying for 8 down, 1 up. This is what I get. $45 a month.

In Scotland.got BT infinity and get 78Mbps down and 19mbps up for £25 a month

60Mbps with only 2Mbps upload :/ But works really nice. Poland, about €15 equivalend (no € in Poland).

I dont have any internet connection at my home (this is from my office).

its a mere 512kbps (0.5 Mb) down/up. f*** india (not all isp, but most sucks)

What's sad is how asynchronous these transfer rates are, with some of you at 10:1 rates. I'm an unusual bean and between the various distributed number crunching programs and running a couple "server" type applications on one computer, I consume FAR more upload than I do download, even with my main computer streaming media, playing video games, and whatever other downstream applications I use. I've become a snob and refuse to consider anything less than ~2:1 and no immediate bandwidth caps. Basically, Verizon FIOS is more or less my only choice unless I move somewhere with Google Fiber.

That's okay though, since pretty much any plan above 100/50 in the US is obnoxiously expensive (except for Google Fiber in the long run) and the oligopoly will keep prices that way (and those speeds are 3:1 or worse).

That being said, I'm so happy to have what I have, even at the fairly high price I'm paying when you consider the region, especially after reading through the responses so far. :)

105 Mbps right now. Although, Comcast is supposed to be increasing speeds in my area. So... it may be bumped up a bit.

Mine was 55Mbps for U$70 per month, just downgraded to 35Mbps for U$45 and got my own modem, my latency is a lot better so even down I've downgraded my speed my service seems faster, I'm pretty happy with the speed :)

4 mbs download and 512 kbs upload here in Florida for 79 usd monthly,. and it's down part of the time.

There is no LTE Signal on our place so I am staying on H+ signal. Even If I go to LTE places I still set my phone on just HSPA+. those speeds are from HSPA+, LTE Speed in our city is 30mbps

I am flabbergasted by your speeds. I have att uverse internet, a sort of dsl. I get 3M download for $30 in Darien, IL near Sh-tcago. Can go up to 12M. Next year I am downgrading to 1.5M. Sufficient for my streaming needs. The thing about this 12M is it really is 12M.

Cable 45Mbps down/4Mbps up 150GB a month data cap

Regular price is $70 a month but I have it discounted for $35.

£49.25 a month with Virgin Media however thinking of dropping the TV package to make that £36.xx a month.

This gives us, TV (god knows how many channels, don't watch it, but the medium package).
Telephone with free weekend calls.
Broad with 100Mb down & 6Mb up (which is awful, but hey its UK).

As someone with a 100MB/5MB connection, let me tell you...It's not just awful, it's horrible. Knowing there's someone out there with a 1,000MB/100BM connection who can load web pages a tenth of a second faster than I can and load an entire 1080P stream faster than it can be watched, I just don't know what to do! Don't even get me started on people privileged enough to own a business line... I just feel like I'm missing out on so much.... :(
