Weekend Open Forum: How much have you spent on your PC?

My current set up cost me £832.15 for a i5 set up. Won't go into details but purchased good quality components and the cost does not include recycled items such as case, keyboards etc. Cost will go up as I intend to purchase graphics card.

Well I have
i7 2600k on cm hyper 212 evo
8 gb ddr3 1333 mhz ram
1 tb wd ezex
2x gigabyte gtx 770 4gb in sli

razer deathadder collector+logitech g500s
corsair vengeance k95
x fi titanium with audio technica ath m50 and panasonic rp htf 600s
a samsung s23a700d

And a macbook pro retina late 2013 15 inch with nvidia gt 750m

CPU: Core i5 4570 - $206
Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-H81M-S2PV - $70
RAM: Apacer 4GB DDR3 1600MHz - $35
HDD: Toshiba 1TB - $65
ODD: Asus - $22
Monitor: ViewSonic 20" - $99
GPU: Sapphire R7 260X OC (2GB) - $168
PSU: Corsair VS450 (450W) - $43
Case: $25
Total: $733
It's a really cheap build. And I don't live in the US, so prices are a little different here. GPUs are really expensive here.

I run a laptop. Over the past three years, I've spent about $50 on it. Upgraded my HDD to a 750gb Western Digital Black, when the previous Samsung drive began failing. Because storage.

$100 on a q6600 box 2.4ghz/4gigs/300 gig hd
$150 on 24" monitor
$120 on aspire 8920 laptop

cheap and all works perfect for me

If I'm not mistaken, the only pc parts I bought:
1. this year is a 1tb Toshiba hdd to replace my dead two 3tb Seagate hdd.

.............
Is that the right way round? I would hardly consider a 1tb drive a replacement for two 3tb drives.
hahaha. it's the only thing I can afford because I'm saving up to buy:
a. Samsung series 3 gaming monitor 23" full hd, 2ms response time, around 13000php
b. NVidia gtx 860 or gtx 870, depending on what is offered first by my favorite computer store. (15000-20000php allocated)
total money reserved: 30000php (Philippine peso, 1$ u.s. ~43.45php)

the extra money I will raise after my priority items is for Samsung 840/850 ssd. I have not yet experienced ssd highway. :)

2. last year is an asus gtx650.

...have yet to buy Samsung series 3 gaming monitor 23" full hd, 2ms, now available at local store.

Samsung series 5 gaming monitor 24" full hd, 2ms is out now...

thanks for the info, local Samsung shops in southern Philippines (Cagayan de Oro and Cebu) only display Samsung series 3 gaming monitor. I'll ask the salesperson the next time I visit either of those cities.
