Did anyone consider 1 BIG difference between PS3 MOVE and XBOX Kinect???

BATTERIES & RECHARGING

If Move has a rechargable internal batt. How long is the life span before you have to fork out another $50-$100 to replace?
How many times have you had to go from wireless to wired or got knocked from a game cause you had to reconnect controller message?
With Kinect: What do you have to replace?? Your Body? Maybe when you reach age 60
Also for you hard core gamers, who's to say you can't play COD or SoCom with Kinect?
You squad an pretend holding a gun and squeeze the trigger, or perhaps get a toy gun
and blast away. ( Like Nintendo has done with their Wii Addon's )
Kinect has yet to come out, lets wait and see then judge.

if i get anything it will be the move because as much as the kinect looks awesome it doesn't look like something i would like to show a friend because if someone walks infront of the tv u r kinda screwed!

@ 2nd Guest (on June 19, 2010 7:58 PM) - that's a really good point, but it works both side, when you play games with you whole body, you do get drain too & i'm really sure you won't be able to play for hours without being too tired. as for battery issues, i'm sure they did to the MOVE like they did for the DS3, the internal batteries are hard to reach, but are replaceable! The battery pack are on sale on a lot of electronic shops & online.

What i wanted to add, is that the technology brought up this generation will be at their climax on next generation. I can see a console from the 3 major competitors (Nintendo / MS / SONY) & maybe even Apple having the computing power required to use a bigger software & make a proprietary version of 'Kinnect', the actual limitations being the hardware. It won't be anyone copying MS for in fact it's the other way round that is happening today. So i have hope for controller-less interaction for everything, the PC will be the first to sustain this & will be applicable everywhere, Science Fiction will meet fantasy & we as Electronic-Entertainment Fans we will WIN from this.

Oh, 1 thing, Thank you the WII for pushing the two others bring us @ least a way to do some workout while having fun.

@chazz, regarding sticking to pioneers, not copycats, that's not a logical stance. Go for the solution that gives you what you want.

I don't want any of them, it's not really my style. But, the kinect has more lure than the move does for those reasons said above. These companies also have a history which adds to it.

For example, I was burned with the Sony Network Adapter, Eye candy and the linux support of the PS3. And if you get a slim then you're out on backwards compatibility. Sony releases features without pushing companies to support them. But at the same time they ditch those features and leave their customers sitting there with paper weights.

IMO, Sony is trying to jump into the Wii market, and if its not a success early on Im quite sure they will ditch it. That's what I mean by saying if I wanted a Wii remote, I'd buy a Wii.

The Xbox typically commands support for their features. Xbox live was booming while my network adapter was collecting dust. And on top of that, they are trying to expand upon the technology instead of adopt it.

I like Xbox's implementation of the "move" tech.

Overall I haven't been to thrilled with my Wii and its motion controls. Idk how much I will like these new motion controls, but if I had to chose one it would be the ps3 move, just because I already own a ps3.

I pretty happy with regular game pads.

Forget It

I'm not into motion controlled gaming, it was a big mistake for all three in my opinion. Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo can forget me ever buying motion controlled consoles or console add ons. Or handhelds and handheld add ons, if they figure out how to motion control that.
