Weekend Open Forum: PC gaming in the living room

"finally run out of steam due to their own technical limitations and loss of competitive advantage, which I believe may happen this generation."
Because the average family is really going to let one person play on a computer in the living room lol

How does the above statement differ from a PS4 or Xbox One than? They are commonly placed in the living room and a lot of games are 1 player games. Besides I don't think my mom would join me in CoD or BF.
 
Wife and I are already making the "Living Room" into a Gaming Room. When I have completed building my new rig, I will be moving my current desktop to the "Living Room" television (55 inch Samsung 240hz with a 5.1 Dolby surround to match). I currently have my computer desk setup in a section of the "Living Room", so not much change there.
