I don't for one second believe that a single organization is behind the scenes of our government, pulling the strings. On the other hand, I do believe that there are different organizations trying to pull politicians their way through funding and such. They all have their own agendas, very few of which are likely to be a danger to the people.
And yes I have read Animal Farm. It was required reading in ninth or tenth grade at my school.
I believe that even if there is some sort of danger to us from our own government, it is substantially less than the dangers to us and our way of life coming from outside our country. Our government might lie to us, but they don't want us dead.
I HAVE read Gordon the Goat, excellent story & illustrations, particularly like the bit where the goats follow the leader into the twister - exciting or what!!
