Weekend Open Forum: What GPU is in your system?

Zotac GTX 580. Got three spares from work cause they were going to be chucked out, but haven't got the motherboard/powersupply to handle SLI.

Having GTX 970 dreams though.

Currently - Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 (overclocked to 1155/1365)

Upgrade this year to - Radeon R9 290X (4GB) or GeForce GTX 970 (4GB) - Probably going to go the GTX 970 if I can find the right deal on one.

Keep an eye out for the 970s now - the overly dramatic will be upset that they only really have 3.5GB VRAM + .5GB of slowVRAM and some drama queens who care more about numbers than the actual performance they've enjoyed this whole time may offload them at reduced prices.

I guess this does matter if you plan to push up against that 4GB limit in the near future - for instance if you just ordered that 4K monitor or you're upgrading to triple screens.

100% Agreed although, you would of thought anyone buying a 4k screen or going triple screen they'd have bought 980's instead? :)

Or multiple 970s - they can do fine with 4K as well as long as you don't get too aggressive with AA. I have a few games that I actually run at 5K resolutions in DSR since my native res is 2560x1440.

Pair of Asus OCII R9-290's Crossfired Samsung 4K monitor - Not a single complaint
