Weekend Open Forum: Your must have browser extensions

My chrome extensions

ublock
click n clean
poper blocker (works better than built in popup blocker)
panic button (closes tabs in a pinch and can restore later)
web of trust
flash control
https everywhere
magic actions for youtube
photo zoom for facebook

I dont use a tracker blocker because ublock has a built in tracker filter thing

Why does firefox need to tell websites which addons we have loaded? It just tells ad companies how to get around browser blocks, who to pay off or which potential bug can be exploited on the browser.

Some of the above mentioned are very good. I will add these ones for Firefox:
- AdBlock Plus: (there're others but I've been using this one for a long time and I'm really happy)
- EPUBReader: Excellent if you want to manage and read electronic books in your browser
- DownThemAll!: Superb download manager (uses pipelining in firefox when available making downloads a lot faster)
- YesScript: If you only want to block scripts in centains sites, create your own 'black list'. If you want to block all scripts you better use 'NoScript' or any similar one.
- Multi Links: I really can't live without this extension! Use right button to open multiple links in tabs at once.

Privacy Badger -> Forcefully block cookies & domains (By EFF)
HTTPS Everywhere -> Force HTTPS As much as possible (by EFF)
Disconnect -> Block Tracking objects, advertising, etc
uBlock -> Lightweight Advertising Filter

Upvote for Stylish, great for sites that over-use floating social media images, real estate-hogging headers and footers, etc.

Tab Mix Plus. I'm a tab hoarder and can't live without multiple tab rows. I also tend to use tab group extensions, using Tab Groups Helper on this particular browser, but I've used others.

Youtube Center - the second coming of Jesus
Enhanced Steam - the name says it all
Grease Monkey

^ This guy knows. Can't do anything without YouTube Center.
Other than that I have Downloaders to make sure I have big downloads going through a Download Manager.

Adblock Plus
Ghostery
WOT
Thumbnail Zoom

These are my essential browser extensions that I must have on every computer I use (work and home).

I switched to Safari recently: I would say Adblock, but I just switched to a much more efficient and lightweight version called uBlock... so far it is fantastic My second must have extension is definitely 1Password. Third is Pushbullet and fourth is Make it short.
