Weird problem power supply

This is the weirdest thing going on with with my Dell Inspiron 1100 laptop.
When I plug in the ac adapter and go online, I get a black screen. The machine runs perfect on battery power.........only black screen when I am on ac power. I tried 2 differant adapters. Dell is no help at all .Ha!

Sounds like the DC connectors on the laptop have gotten bent / buggered. Be careful as this usually means a MBoard replacement.
