welcome Screen

  1. hi,
    anybody know what the name of the welcome screen file is? (the screen that's displayed with user names). is it a file that's displayed? if it is, what's the name of it?

    Its not a file, its part of NTOSKRNL.EXE and cant be edited easily however if its so you can edit it see here.

    The welcome screen or the logon screen is displayed through the file 'logonui.exe' located in the 'system32' folder in the Windows directory.

    dude,
    i'm not looking for the program. i'm looking for the image file that the program displays. it's either a jpg or bmp file. that's what i'm looking for.

    The image is included in the file that I mentioned, u can open it with Resource Hacker.
